I hate hate hate the fact that you *have* to install the pointbase database and Sun Application Server. I have my own DB and I use Tomcat. If they gave it as an option to install the other two I would use SJSC.
I think one also could have considered the Delphi 7 IDE, I have found it to be one of the easiest to use.
Thanks for the comparison.
“Recognized as the leading development environment by Gartner analysts”
Not that Gartner from the pirated windows edition article?
How can they speak about RAD environment and not talk about InterfaceBuilder and XCode ?
Maybe a stupid question, aren’t these just IDE’s? My experience with (what I call) RAD tools is limited, but how do these IDE’s compare to something like Magic (www.magicsw.com)?
Netbeans?
Oracle JDeveloper 10g?
There is almost no real information in this review.
Which makes the article rather pointless.
What would have been good was perhaps a bit more of advanced possibility’s why one is really more productive as the other…
Wizards, intellisence autocontructors etc etc.
