This material explains the different requirements to secure three distinct environments, as well as what each prescribed server setting addresses in terms of client dependencies. The three environments considered are called Legacy Client, Enterprise Client, and High Security.
1.) Replace with FreeBSD
2.) There’s no 2!
That’s fine and dandy if you’re the sole admin and can convince your boss to do whatever you say (or if you are the boss). In the real world, IT employees go to where the paycheck is and if there’s a need for a Windows admin, well we better know what we’re doing or else no paycheck 🙂
We better know what we’re doing – Windows admins? You’re killing me. Yes, I know all the talk is about how popular Windows is, and how if you want to get paid you use Windows, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. What about all those places that use quite a bit less of Windows these days?
Dude WTF is YOUR problem ?
I constantly see bullsh*t posts from you over and over. You don’t use/like windows – WE GET IT –
Now why don’t you go spend your precious time doing something other than trolling the windows posts.
Legacy Client, Enterprise Client, and High Security.
WTF? And how the hell do I pigeon hole my setup into that load of bollocks?

Guess you didn’t read it, otherwise you would have found a definition of these arbitrary categories on page 13. Of course if you were a good windows admin you’d be able to customise a setup to suit your need. But that wouldn’t be worth the effort now would it because (quote) “blah, blah, blah…”. I use FreeBSD as a firewall but I’m not so stupid to diss security on windows either. I guess that’s the difference between being a professional…

It requires thought and experience – that’s why you’re having so much trouble.
and it’s not only because there is the need for such prose that windows is not a real os:
I’m not so stupid to diss security on windows either. I guess that’s the difference between being a professional…
diss ? and did you know a difference requires two things ?
you professionals are great… you buy softwares (?!!), and then you have to buy books to understand it.
That’s why there is a “…” at the end of my sentence; so that anyone else could finish it with their own conclusion. But why nitpick my post: where are the capitals at the start of your sentences? Your first sentence barely makes sense. Perhaps you should stick to Spanish until you learn a few more nuances of English. We’re not writing literature here (which was my major at uni actually).
