Two big announcements from them lately! This crossover one, and also the bxt2 font system!
I think Desktop/LX 1.4 is going to be just amazing!
What is the license situation of btX2? If I understood correctly btX2 replaces Freetype. And isn’t Qt linked to Freetype? Since Qt for X11 is in GPL, (not LGPL or any other license) how can be btX2 linked with Qt? If Lycoris purchased Qt license… How does it link with GPL’d part of KDE, like Konqueror? I think the whole thing doesn’t make sense at all.
I think there was an interview floating around someplace that explained this bit. Dunno why Eugenia didn’t put up a link to it.

It doesn’t seem to answer that question though.

Yeah, this kind of cracked me up too.
“Lycoris Desktop/LX, the world’s most acclaimed Linux desktop operating system”
Acclaimed by who? Their marketing guy?

That is awesome! Lycoris is really going to make some ground. They have had *two* big PRs already!
sounds like Xandros Reloaded to me.
