nuff said. sucks for them
Anyone know which part of their licence RISCOS Ltd broke? Without knowing any of the facts my sympathies go to the developers that spend their time working on the OS and now can’t make any money out of it.
The last thing a non-mainstream OS with a small userbase needs is infighting between remaining developers. This kind of thing is just going to make RISC OS fade away even faster. It’s a shame as for a while it was the best desktop OS around IMO.
I really love that OS. I hope this isn’t the end of developing it..
Castle seems to be going to keep supporting the sublisencees of ROL, even if they are competing against their own RISC OS 5 / Iyonix combination.
Im sure Castle will reveal what ROL broke in the liscence soon enough.
