I dont have a Sparc station, however, I am waiting to see what this youg new project will deleiver to the community. I have some aspring hopes for ekkoBSD.
Can’t wait to play with it, but I won’t be doing so until they add something. I’m hoping UBC gets finished in the near future. I want UBC in OpenBSD even more than SMP.
FreeBSD is the most endangered of them all, having lost 93% of its core developers.
Is that true?
“Is that true?”
Well, i’m not quite sure. But even if it were, you must know that developers come and go.. New ones have surely arrived to take over.
can this run on ultra spark 4 and 5
…or there any plan for support it?????
BSDero
I am personally working on SMP for ekkoBSD on my dual proc. Ultra 2, depending on how my schedule works, expect it somewhere between early summer and early fall.
My mistake wholly, I left out a lot of details, there’s a lot to do before SMP shows up, don’t expect it soon, hope for it though 😉
