…and best of luck to you on this project. At the rate you seem to be moving with this you’ll probably have a decent and usable OS in no time – certainly sooner than OBOS.
i want to test this OS, but Rawrite for windows failed to make disk image, Rawrite for DOS also failed, in fact i don’t know how i can use it, so how i can make disk image from .img file?
I just tried the image with Rawrite for Windows (I use WinXP) and it worked fine. I haven’t tried booting the disk yet, but Rawrite said that the disk was OK.
First you open Rawrite and click on the “Write”-tab. Then you choose the .img file (by clicking the “…” button)
If you have a disk in the drive, it should write to floppy if you click the “Write” button
I was thinking of starting up my own hobby OS. The name I had decided upon was ParticleOS; however, I figured TriangleOS would hate ParticleOS, they’d have a fight, and TriangleOS would win, so I never started working on it.
