Microsoft is working closely with Intel on a new dual-screen Surface device powered by Windows Core OS that’s similar to Intel’s Copper Harbor prototype that was revealed earlier this year. Codenamed “Centaurus”, this device is akin to Microsoft’s canceled Courier project, which saw the company conceptualize the idea of a digital journal in 2010. Centaurus marks the second dual-screen device we believe Microsoft is currently working on internally, the first of which is codenamed “Andromeda.”
Next year could be the year of dual-screen or even bendable screen devices. Microsoft has been exploring this for years now.
I’ll make space on the shelf for it, next to the Courier, Zune, Lumia 960 and Microsoft PixelSense
Since the Courier was never developed into a shipping product and I’m assuming you don’t have access to a prototype, I guess you’re just doing a terrible job trying to make a point about MS killing products.
First off, “Centaurus” is essentially the first and only Courier MS will ever release. So you can’t argue that the Courier’s dead – if for no other reason than that it has yet to be born.
The PixelSense product still runs Windows just fine AFAIK. Meanwhile the tech has been further developed and the original product has been superseded by the Surface Studio and the Surface Hub. So that’s quite far from being dead.
Out of your list, only the Zune and the Lumia are truly the end of the line, although Zune’s introduction of a “modern” UI continues to have a huge influence on the design of Windows 10, and Windows Phone tech is still alive in the form of UWP and apparently Andromeda.
If there’s anything at all holding your list of devices together, it might be that MS doesn’t really give up on anything.

Oh look, Microsoft is peddling high-quality vaporware again. This worked 15 years ago when there wasn’t much choice, but in 2018, if you want a foldable phone, you can just buy a Samsung (running a competitor’s OS) right now.
The concept of a Surface Phone that can run desktop applications has been getting teased since the “one kernel” initiative with Windows Phone 8 in some codename or another, I will believe it when I see it.

If you want a foldable phone in 2018, you could also buy the FlexPai, which is the real first foldable phone: https://www.gsmarena.com/flexpai_is_the_worlds_first_foldable_phone_…

This isn’t a foldable phone, it’s a foldable tablet. Did you read TFA?
I assume you are posting from the future? According to this article:

Samsung has just shown the prototype and the handset will actually ship sometime in 2019.
