Apple updated its Boot Camp software to include support for Windows 10. In other words, you can now officially run Windows 10 on your Mac – assuming you have a Mac from 2012 or later (roughly – don’t pin me down on this one).

I have installed the 32 bit version of Windows 10 on my first generation (2006) Core Duo Macbook. I used the drivers from Bootcamp 4. The last version of OS X that runs on that Macbook is OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard, but Windows 10 runs really great.
I replaced the HD with an SSD for €30, and I think now the old Macbook is still faster than my Atom-powered Windows tablet from 2014. (The Macbook has a worse battery life, however, and it’s not fanless.)
Yep, as long as you have enough memory (2 GB for 32 bit) Windows 10 runs well. But you need drivers to get good graphics results and especially good power management. The default drivers in Windows have actually gotten so good that you can use a machine with it just fine if it is normally connected to power, doesn’t go in/out of standby all the time and you don’t play games. But with good drivers it does work a lot better
