The latest updates to iOS 8 and OS X Yosemite introduce some very welcomed changes to the way Security and Privacy is dealt with on these platforms and may serve as an inspiration for others.
I’ve gathered this information by watching over 17 hours of WWDC 2014 sessions and carefully reviewing, analyzing what was said, and writing a huge number of notes on Security, Privacy, UX and other areas which I will be publishing here in the coming weeks.
A very detailed look at all that’s coming to the Apple platforms in terms of privacy and security.
No praise for Apple putting users privacy and security before profits? In fact no recognition at all. Gotta love the flagrant fanboism of this site.
They are not putting user’s privacy ahead of profits. Quite the opposite in fact: they are banking on appearing to put user’s privacy first to bring them more profit. Nothing wrong with this strategy (they are a business after all) but let’s not kid ourselves. It’s a good strategy for the users in any case.
You’re right of course that every action by a corporation is to improve profits somehow. Doesn’t change the fact that these are welcome privacy enhancements and puts ios 8 ahead of other systems
You are obviously a graduate of the Philip Anderson’s School of Deduction.
WTF is up with the capitalization in iOS?

It’s A Beta. Let’s Hope They Will Correct It In The Final Version.
What’s wrong with it? You capitalise the first letter of words in titles. Granted, a 14-word title is a bit excessive, but it’s still proper grammar.
Title
Blurb
Action buttons
Seems like a normal dialog box setup to me. They just need to shorten the title.
