The open source Contiki operating system and its commercial Thingsquare distribution are making strides towards the connected home. According to a Computerworld article, a new LED light bulb manufacturer is putting small computers into their light bulbs. Each computer runs the Contiki OS, which gives each bulb an IP address and allows them to be controlled with a smartphone application. To connect the bulbs to the application, the bulbs use both Wi-Fi and the much lower power IEEE 802.15.4 mesh technology.

My campaign to get people to stop calling everything an epic fail continues. Epic should be reserved for something so unique that it only occurs once in a lifetime. Fail should always be used as a verb.
Putting the two together is just absurd.
Napoleon invading Russia, that was an epic failure.
Not epic, when a midget on his high horses gets to attack Russia by winter, what should happen happens…

Napoleon attacked Russia in the middle of Summer (June 24). He began his retreat in Autumn (October). Napoleon had never intended to attack Moscow but was forced to do so by the Russian military tactics.

The game Epic (Amiga) was a failure according to some reviews, but others gave it high marks.
So something can be an epic failure and an epic success at the same time until you observe it yourself.
Epic. Superposition.
Epic was one of the first “cinemagraphic” sci-fi soap game on 4th generation computers.
