Glad to see the project keep moving forward.
I did HD Audio. I figured-out it’s not very common — didn’t work in VMware. It kinda made a mess and “Which of these things is not like the other” applied. I don’t have any other PCI devices, so I removed HD Audio.
I just support nonPCI and I have one driver for each kind of device and I don’t do networking. Commodore 64 with real real fast 64-bit multicored CPU. Very simple to get you head around and very clean… for what it’s worth.

Great! I’m excited to try it out again.
The only thing that prevented me from installing it in the past was that my mouse wasn’t recognized. MenuetOS does support controlling the mouse with the keyboard, but that gets tiring. :/
I looked around and found examples how to do keyboard mouse and found documentation. PC hardware is all different, so it never works everywhere and you have no way of knowing. All operating system people just guess a lot.
When someone makes a hardware interface, that organization owns the intellectual property if anybody does.
I have documentation on ATA hard drive protocol. My original underastanding came from Linux code. Who owns the intellecvtual property on ATA communication, Linux or the ATA people?
You are aware, that the Supreme court said, when there is just one way to do something…
Don’t be a coward and fall for 14-year-olds lawyer wannabes. Always take it to court. Lots of people intimidate fools by bluffing. Most people are cowards.
f–ken just claim anti-trust and make new case law!
I’d just claim divine right, personally — God told me like Solomon to make His temple, sorta. God can talk. I’d love to enter God into court transcripts. I pitty the fool.

TempleOS, would you kindly please consider this :

No joke, this is the ‘light’ cartoonesque introduction of some more serious stuff. It -might- burst a little your bubble, but watch it ’till the end, then come back to me.

I’ve only made it half way through thus far, but there’s some pretty odd/interesting stories there.
Not sure I could ever take it seriously though. But I’m always curious about other peoples theories and interpretations of ancient Earth.
Watch it till the end. It makes some sense at the end.
Sad they not incorporate some clues about Darwinian evolution (fish to lizards to dinosaurs to birds, the mammal tree with humans on its branch)
But still, there is some sense.

The idea of church being an organisation bent on control is a pretty well established one. It’s one of the reasons I dislike organised religions.
And most of the symmetry they demonstrated could easily be explained by coincidence (after all, there’s also a great deal of great wonders that fall outside the described pattern).
The stories about inter-dimensional beings was more the stuff that had me curious. I’ve often said that if a God-like deity existed, it would have to live outside our 3.1* dimensional plane to fit what we would describe as omnipotent. However the problem with stories like these is they’re based almost entirely on speculation.
(*3 dimensions + time)
I also don’t like stories that tie psychic phenomena into 3 dimensional beings. Almost always, what people perceive as psychic behaviours are either:
1) retrospective interpretation (eg selective memories such as “I thought something felt odd” when they experience that feeling often but only remember the occasions that links into an event, and how Nostradamus’s predictions are re-interpreted post-event to match up with historic events, but never interpreted “correctly” pre-event)
2) subtle subconscious non-psychic readings (eg crossed arms and angry eyes == not happy)
3) “psychosomatic” (ie if you want to believe something badly enough, then you’ll feel non-existent connections and notice things that don’t exist. A lot like how placebo drugs can fool the patient into believing they have all manor of side-effects.
4) blind luck / coincidence (people are sometimes so keen to believe in a higher power -be that a deity or other supernatural powers- that they’ll say the phrase “it’s too much of a coincidence not to be xyz” – when in actual fact, coincidences happen all the time)
All that aside, this is one of the less wacky “theories” that I’ve heard. And certainly interesting enough to make me keen to investigate it further.

Perhaps there is also the lack of knowledge of these ‘upper’ dimensions that puts the emphasis into wording them correctly.
So, it’s perhaps a ‘naive’ approach that might lead to some sort of hard understandability. Just like trying to understand the 4th dimension through the visualization of an hypercube :

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fOuXtONDAN0
It’s hard to figure out without proper way to interact. It’s like asking a one eyed to figure out about 3D.
BTW, your Nostradamus stuff, much like the words put into Jesus’ mouth (parables) that can also be interpreted the way we want without Him being able to correct us, kinda “No ways dudes, that’s NOT what I meant and intended to say !”
People were killed in the name of God, while on the Ten Commands : “thou shall not kill” was specifically told by God himself (if we still believe this crap/mythology). It’s just a matter of self perception and interpretation in the way the most favorable to the one standing this cause.

I don’t think it’s hard to visualise the fourth dimension . I use a technique where I think of the third dimension as a flipbook Or movie reel. To the us in the fourth dimension, each frame is a 3D still. We can randomly jump to any point in the animation and even edit them if we choose. But to the persons on the tape / book, their only aware of the frame they’re in. They can’t jump frames, only follow them in sequence. And they can’t perceive us unless we directly edit the frame they’re in.
And the nice thing about the flip book analogy is it allows for the pages to be bent and warped, like 3d space is in time.
Re Jesus, indeed. That’s one of my many complaints about Christianity. (And organised religions on the whole). The problem isn’t faith, it’s man’s interpretation of God and the scriptures.
I’ll go watch the links now…..
Edit, oh, they’re just about the 4th dimension. And very basic stuff at that. I thought it was more ancient world theories

Sorry, don’t follow.

Actually, stereo vision is only one of many cues for depth perception that we rely on; one eyed people still do it quite well.
Cowards won’t talk to me face to face so I can prove God. Now, the niggers think I’m datamining to make God. No. God talking in the Bible by occult means. It wasn’t schitzephrenia.
It’s kosher to use occult means with Catholics Augustine was a doctor of the church. Fuck the Pope — just talk with God.
throughout the whole order of things, brought this about. For if
when a man by haphazard opens the pages of some poet, who sang and
thought of something wholly different, a verse oftentimes fell out,
wondrously agreeable to the present business: it were not to be
wondered at, if out of the soul of man, unconscious what takes place
in it, by some higher instinct an answer should be given, by hap,
not by art, corresponding to the business and actions of the
demander.”
Tongues is a Ouija board — don’t kid yourself. You are attempting to get a spirit to talk. You wanna mince words? Tongues is a Ouija. You’re afraid of success! If it actually works, you call it occult.

Chicken. Go talk with God yourself with TempleOS.

The Holy Spirit is called “the advocate” it’s unbeatable in court. “Do not prepare your words because the Holy Spirit will give them to you at the hour.” Or, it makes the enemy have a heart attack.
It’s totally planet of the apes.

As a scientist, think what is possible if it can control your words. It can make a Ouija board or a stopwatch like I use as random numbers. Or, just randomly opening a book.

So you’re saying that by using TempleOS I will be able to talk directly with God? WOW!
Now that’s epic.
Plesse don’t ever stop posting, this stuff is comedy gold.
I don’t think you can talk to God directly until the Google balloons are up providing the missing link between here and there.
Don’t encourage him… look what happens when he does not stop ( http://www.osnews.com/comments/27138 )
TempleOS is really making a mark for themselves. 8 up and 60 down. There’s a name for that isn’t there…?
Good to see this OS still moving forward. It’s pretty cool.
Projects like this are the reason any new computer of mine will have a floppy drive.
There are instructions on the MenuetOS download page that explain how to create a bootable live CD. They are very easy to follow and they work well. I used a live CD to try out this latest release two nights ago.
