Facebook Home is now available on the Google Play Store, for the Samsung Galaxy SII, SII, HTC One, One X, and One X+, with support for the HTC One and Galaxy S4 coming in the future. No need to download it, though; Home’s single interesting feature, Chat Heads, is available in the regular Facebook Messenger for Android as well.
That is a lot of ones. Probably trolls, but still warms my heart a little just to know that there are people out in the wild that thinks this might just be kinda stupid.
Interested to see how this software will spy on us.
Flop flop flop, tiddely flop, flop flop.
Sorry i have watched “the meaning of life” but this app is going nowhere. It is just a poorly designed launcher.
I think it is more akin to
‘Flying Sheep’ myself.
Just tried it. Horrible. The launcher is basically iOS’ Springboard for Android. Static grid of icons without widgets. But hey, if you tap “More” in the all applications drawer, it launches the Android launcher, which apparently continues to run in the background. Because that’s not confusing… A launcher on top of a launcher.
Facebook: Please focus on making the Facebook and Messenger apps as good as Google+. Lag-free Holo, please!
Kill it! Kill it! Mount its head over the mantle next to Motoblur!
Haven’t tried Home. Never will. Haven’t tried Messenger, though, it sounds semi-cute. I hear that Chat-Heads appear over the dialpad on the phone. Sure you can move it but you shouldn’t have to.
Hell no to either!
