If you use a photo editor to crop or convert your images, or to improve brightness, color balance and contrast, then you probably don’t need a professional image processing suite. There are tons of web-based graphic editors that are available for free. However, if you are looking for self-hosted, open source solutions, you should definitely go in a different direction. Thanks for sharing this. As web applications become more ubiquitous, I see these drawing applications as becoming more important for communication needs. I’ve actually been looking for a good way to incorporate simple drawing utilities with a wiki. Currently, I save images as svg into my wiki, and when I want to edit, I have to download the svg, edit, and then upload the svg back to the wiki. It works, but it’s very clumsy.
I’m looking for a way to edit directly from the wiki interface, then save and present in one fell swoop.
