Yes, they have been infiltrated by trolls and script kiddies that thought DDoS attacks would be as effective against megacorps and governments as they where against the AnonTalk spamers.

this is not new, it is happening al over the world and not only to IT people.
In austria 10 people, active in animal care, were arrested in the same brutal way, put to jail for almost three month without a trial. All based on paragraph 278, an anti-maffia paragraph misused for the pupose of getting people out of the way that are “uncomfortable”.
The trial has costed over 5 million Euros already and there has been not a trace of evidence for the crimes these people supposedly have committed.
If you protest against actions done by governments, even western governments, you live a dangerous life. The politicians being the marrionettes for the large industries.

To me, this is more evidence that creeps & degenerates infest the government & law-enforcement; when the SWAT-team treatment is used to reign-in what amounts to malevolent pranksterism. Do you think Bernie Madoff was treated like this?
My feelings are that the FBI’s behaviour doesn’t intimidate, but justifies continued Anon-style recourse.
Sadly, these raids and draconian measures by governments and big business will not lead to revolt; at least not in the U.S. Our citizens are far too engrossed in their reality TV, cell phones, sporting events, and other distractions. They wouldn’t know it if aliens invaded and then simply took over. That would involve lifting their nose out of their kindle or iPad. Slowly but surely, our citizens are becoming a dumbed down workforce that’s just smart enough to do the work but too dumb to realize that the government and and everything else is simply owned by an elite few of uber rich, powerful individuals. It’s sad. I hope the world does end in 2012.
