include the SQLNinja package at our November 8th meeting. In the
meantime, I’ve received quite a bit of feedback, and I’d like to take
this opportunity to provide a bit of clarification on the Board’s
decision.

Symlink everybody wont find every article on osnews interesting. Why the negative comments, why dont you just skip the article if it does’nt appeal to you.
Its not so much SQLNinja in itself but the reasoning behind it’s exclusion and maybe a general policy change to grey area software.
Its not even the fact that osnews carried this, its the fact that the fedora world is so concerned over this.
I mean it even says in the article that its already being carried in a third-party repo.
Then there is also the fact that their meeting only specifically looked at SQLNinja. He also notes that most of the feedback they received on their decision was in objection to blocking security tools in general which is not what they did at all.
Finally, there is the fact that they are going to reconsider their decision.
Point taken
Anyway it’s not as though I can take the moral high ground myself.
