“LinuxCertified,Inc. a leading provider of Linux training, will offer its System and Network administration bootcamp on January 18 – 19, 2003 in San Francisco bay area (south bay). This workshop is designed for busy information technology professionals and is designed to cover the most important Linux administration areas. All attendees get a free Linux laptop.” Read the rest at NewsForge.
…but why in God’s name is this news? The “free” laptop?
It’s not like there has never been a bootcamp for Linux before. And all of the skills for the major Linux certs overlap anyway (Well except CompTIA’s – That exam was a friggin’ joke.)
Maybe I should selling these and teach them out of my basement, and send out a press release for the free publicity I would get on Newsforge and OS News.
It seems that they ALWAYS have their bootcamps in San Francisco. Why not in LA, Phoenix, Dallas, Saint Louis, Chicago, New York, or Miami? Do they not rate or something?
And its FREE! Well, for only 1600 dollers of course… and you get lunch and breakfast too!
