In Qt 3.1.1 the build issues with the Professional Edition have been solved. The build problems reported on Solaris and HP-UX have been addressed. Detection of Xft2 support has been added. The installer and reconfigure tools on Windows have been fixed. Apply changes to build with Borland Kylix/Linux. Look’n’Feel improvements in the Qt/Mac version.
That’s great news, now gtk and qt support Xft2. The left things to do are waiting for many apps to port in the most current version of gtk and qt.
This is just one of the many standards that linux needed to set and stay true to in order to further the success of linux
Qt needs to support the WinXP widget set.
Soon the deathstar will be complete.
Just use a XP QWidget look alike.
Sif you’d root an excellent toolkit buy adding more M$ API Junk into it.
