the most consistent and well thought operating system of all. Very few bugs, very few security holes, almost never crashes as soon as correctly configured, compliant to all standards … have you ever had the relaxing feeling of knowing for sure that everything works and will continue to work as expected for a long period of time when looking at a Vax or an Alpha or a cluster of them running OpenVMS + Oracle or dozens of developers compiling at the same time for example ?
No BSOD ever, no cryptic error messages from apps or the system, all commands have same format .. every sysadmin dream made reality and it’s been already 30 years that way !
