The PC-BSD team has pushed out a bug-fix release of their operating system. “Version 7.1.1 contains a number of bugfixes and improvements from PC-BSD 7.1, including KDE 4.2.4, improvements to printing support, Xorg Server 1.6.1, and much more.” Get it from their download page.
I am a long time FreeBSD and OpenBSD user and I just wanted to say that the PC-BSD team is doing a fantastic job of bringing the rock-solid *BSD world to the casual desktop.
I’ve used PC-BSD off and on since it was first released and I have always been very pleased with it. Great job guys!
I join the chorus and congratulate the PC-BSD team for another fine release.
(Disclaimer: I do this not only because PC-BSD per se, but because this operating system news site seems to attract less and less people interested in news related to operating systems.)
