What’s happening with Lycoris Desktop/LX’s font issue? Have they fixed their fonts? As far as I rememeber, their fonts were ugly, unlike any other Linux distro, according to what this site said.
they’ve improved a bit…..still not great out of the box, but there is a freetype2 patch on the community site that helps a lot. it doesn’t bring them up to par with redhat8, but with some tweaking you can make it just a nice.
When they move to KDE 3 (which is unlikely anytime soon), it should be fixed. By time they do move to KDE 3, Qt would be using XFT2 which would be using FreeType 2.
