The Xfce project just announced the first maintenance release of the Xfce 4.4 branch, Xfce 4.4.1. There is a changelog, and you can download it from the Sourceforge download page. In case you lived under a rock the past few years: “Xfce is a lightweight desktop environment for unix-like operating systems. It aims to be fast and lightweight, while still being visually appealing and easy to use.”
“Fix aspect ratio of the pager when using viewports, required for window managers such as Beryl that use multiple viewports within one single workspace.”
Yay!!! I have been making do without a pager due to this.

Pager? I’m assuming you’re talking about something other than less or more.
The term is also used for small utilities that lets you switch to another virtual desktop/workspace/viewport. Like the Gnome Pager applet in Gnome panel – or its equivalent in KDE.
Oh, okay. In Gnome I have something called “Workspace Switcher”.
Yes. It is also known as the Gnome Pager. In Danish it is called “Arbejdsområdeskifter” (Workspace Switcher) but the actual name is Gnome Pager just like “Teksthåndtering” (Text Editor) is named gedit. Or “Document Viewer (Dokumentviser)” for Evince.
Good for them! One of the best (if not the best) desktops around!
Keep it up!
Great stuff. This has fixes to memory leak issues etc. Been waiting for this for a while 🙂
