Come on IBM, give us a Solaris version!
Great stuff, never seen it before, client had a lot of staff with knowledge of it back at the barn so they wanted the new linux platform to use it. Never had to call or use any of them, installation was a snap, set up random, rawdevices and it just rocked from day one, never gave a moment of trouble. Felt just as solid as informix, sybase or oracle, the app performance was stellar.
I mean, neither in price or source. What they are releasing is a 90 day trial, so be ready to shell out some cash if you’re planning to really use it.
