Quite a few of these are written in Rust – if you want more Rust alternatives to existing popular tools, there’s a list for that, too.
The only one of these I’ve used is fzf, and not directly; it’s used by fuzzypkg on Void Linux which is a TUI front end for xbps. I’m not opposed to new tools, provided they actually do improve the user experience while keeping it simple and adhering to the UNIX philosophy. I’m also not a Rust hater, though that’s more that I’m not a developer so I don’t care what language is used as long as the tool/app is useful, secure, simple, and does exactly what it’s supposed to.
I will definitely check some of these out, especially if they ever make it into my two favorite UNIX-likes (Void and OpenBSD).
