DragonFly version 6.2 is the next step in the 6.x release series. This version has hardware support for type-2 hypervisors with NVMM, an amdgpu driver, the experimental ability to remote-mount HAMMER2 volumes, and many other changes.
You can get the new release from the downloads page.
I always thought this project had some potential to hit it big in the server-side world. Matt’s views seemed to be heavily influenced by the VMS cluster world, but it just doesn’t seem to hit all the right cords for most people. I am curious to see if he can fulfill the HAMMER2 vision of being a true clustering filesystem.
Remote mounting sounds promising. Already in nov. 2021 related to xdisk. I’ve no idea (not a dragonflybsd user) but maybe I should play with it someday.

Looks like such a remote mount is blocking (single use). See manpage under cluster services.
