Either way, I personally don’t like the concept of having a “one key, many locks” approach.
How many of the alleged 14 million passport users know that they have a passport account. If you have a hotmail account you have a passport. If you have winxp you have a passport account. How many of the signed up for passport on purpose?
These commercial bastards are competing to harvest ‘consumer’ data, but I don’t personally know any ‘consumers’ who really want their data harvested to begin with.
I don’t know why, but whatever is backed by Sun I will trust. maybe that’s because Sun makes “reliability, stability and security” instead of “clippy”.
