Previously DDG was not offered as an option at all.
Good. DDG is a great search engine and has been my default search engine for a while now. I suggest everyone attempt the same – we need more competition, especially since DDG is far more privacy oriented than Google can ever be.
I have always thought that DDG looks too perfect not to be a shill for a local Gestapo. What can be a better proof than the blessing from the Evil itself
Browsing around, it seems that most are in agreement with you, Alec. Consensus seems to be that if the big G is now allowing DDG in their apps, it HAS TO mean that they control it. As of me, I simply don’t know enough to say anything, but since I am one of those using DDG, I’d be curious to get some elements of the story…
