Raquel Velasco and Bill Buck have announced that there will be a new developer program similar to the one with the Open Desktop Workstation for the Open Server Workstation (dual 970MP) and the EFIKA 5k2 board. If you are interested to apply please send an email directly to Genesi.
I’m going for Efika. 🙂
will this be another one of their free workstation if you pay $30 (or more) a month developer programs?

The gentoo foundation got 20 of those machines for free. They’re only send to people who write software though. The occasional ‘funny’ osnews comment writers do not qualify. For those people there’s the $30/month -get a refund when you amaze Genesi with your software- program.
Considering how Genesi has managed not to pay their developers in the past I’d say that one is quite risky.
But come on. How hard can it be to buy your own computer. I sure didn’t get any offers for a free PC when I bought mine. I’ve never had someone offering me a free PC
Wanna develope for the Pegasos? Go buy one
Good to see some potentially affordable PPC64 happening outside of Apple and the game consoles. Godspeed, Genesi!
BBRV: Got any preview photos of the boards? Any specifications to share?
I didnt know Bill Buck had any credibility left.
Nor did I…
