“Bounty Source is a progressive step in project management for Free Open Source Software communities. In addition to the standard tools needed for managing an active community, we allow people to “put their money where their mouth” is by offering monetary rewards (bounties) toward the development of solutions to bug reports and feature requests. The end result of the bounty system is the creation of a catalyst that will increase development activity throughout all projects that choose to take advantage of Bounty Source.”
I had this idea this morning! How coincidental!
too broke for this
Of course, the basic idea is not new althought this is the first time I’ve seen bounties integrated with project management and version control.
Unfortunatly, its developers made a bad job layouting the page: running bounties should be presented in a prominent and motivating way. I really do hope, they will fix this, because such a page is indeed needed.

Bullshit. No open source developer worth his salt will waste his time taking part in this garbage. Unlike morons like you, they know a scam attempt from the Windows Shareware Crowd when they see one.
