Microsft has released service packs for a number of its productivity applications: OneNote 2003 Service Pack 2, Visio 2003 Service Pack 2, Project 2003 Service Pack 2, Project Server 2003 Service Pack 2, and Office 2003 Service Pack 2. That’s a whole lot of Service Pack 2s, and here’s for hoping all the links are correct.
…as usual… Damn.. I would wish Microsoft Update was faster.
A good tip for everybody:
You can get ALL updates in one place. Just use Microsoft Update http://update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/ instead of Windows Update http://update.microsoft.com/windowsupdate/
Microsoft Update has updates for Windows, Office, and drivers and (occasionally) some third party stuff.
Just so you know you don’t have to run around after a dozen updates in different places.

Great stuff! However, I would seriously advise against using Microsoft/Windows Update for updating your drivers. Some drivers are outdated, have stripped features (for instance, I believe NVidia’s drivers don’t come with the control panel) and some are completely buggy: ask ASUS mobo users about the Marvell Yukon… The drivers you can find on ASUS or Marvell website are okay but the one from WU have memory leaks that leads you to a BSOD after a few hours.
It can work for some people, but I would really stay with the generic drivers or get the ones from your manufacturer.
Get it from Micrsoft downloads instead of update, I had between 400k-600k download
Don’t worry, we’ll have an Exchange 2003 service pack 2 shortly! And maybe one day, a Win2003 service pack 2 as well. But all of the above are really just part of the very extended Office family, so it’s just one release really.
Still has an issue when you are in Print Layout and cursor moves from one page to another, it will get “stuck” on the second page, that is you will have two cursors, one immobile (at the position it was when got moved from another page – by keyboard up/down keys) and one normal, which you can move and which shows an actual position.
I could have sworn Project Server 2003 Service Pack 2 was already out.
Also why are the Project Server Service Packs such a pain in the ass to install. SP1 required downloading two exe, running them, then opening a command prompt an running some scripts.
