It seems that the ELXLinux project is preparing for its 1.0 release, named ELX Power Desktop 1.0. It is said that the company have partnered with another company in Northern America and some in Europe to distribute its ELXLinux 1.0. Their website features a brand-new improved design.
They *WILL* release all GPL related sources they are using? If not, FSF should go after them for violating the GPL.
What the heck!?!? Maybe I’m stupid, but I could not find a download section on their website. Someone would need to give me a really good reason to shell out how ever much ELX is asking for a copy of something that is freely-downloadable everywhere else.
It’s there 1.0 release. They should be letting people get it for free to get them hooked!
and why the skepticism that they wont release the code ?
it actually points to ibiblio
