Sounds like they envision a lot of virtual machines. A lot more than I currently see being used. Sounds like a good idea in theory. Definitely simplifies infrastructure.

It is never a good idea to call something generic by a trademark unless absolutely necessary. What you mean is a virtual machine monitor – there is simply no VMware for LinuxPPC.
