This build is a 10cm x 10cm x 10cm replica of the NeXT Computer to house a Raspberry Pi computer. I designed and built this specifically with the aim of having it run some basic server tasks on my home network, such as storing revision control repositories etc.
The necessary files to make your own are available. What a neat-looking case – I’d love a similar one, but slightly larger so it can house a mini-ITX board. I would love to build a Ryzen II machine in a case like this.
That’s adorable, it’s a shame that it sounds like Previous ( http://previous.alternative-system.com/ ) was only good for maybe 50% native speed ( http://www.nextcomputers.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3733&sid=eac7fb… ) on an RPi to get it to behave like a baby NeXTCube, though that post is several versions old so maybe things are better.

It would be pretty cool to make one of these and install GNUstep on the Pi. I have access to some 3D printers at work, maybe this is something I should look into.
My thoughts exactly. (Except with no simple access to a 3D printer)
Maybe Étoilé is a good point to start? It’s a Linux distribution focused on GNUstep, even though the project’s website seems to be inactive for some time (latest “News” item from 2014).
Very well done, this is a project the creator should be proud of.
