The eighth issue of the Lycoris Community Newsletter is now available. Included in this issue is an extended look at the all-new Lycoris GamePak and an interview with Brian Masinick, one of Lycoris’ Product Support Services personnel, as well as all the latest Lycoris press articles and news.
This is pretty informative. The Lycoris Newsletter has an in-depth interview in each issue that are very good. It’s worth reading. They now have a part time email support person, which is good, because that was one thing that was very lacking – they promised email support but it did not really exist until they hired this guy.
It also goes into why they haven’t started using KDE3 three yet – mostly because of shifting the work load to their Productivity pak and Game Pak.
Nice newsletter, very impressive. I cant wait until i get my copy of Lycoris. This is getting exciting
This is a very good newsletter, which lotes of good information about Lycoris and their products.
🙂
I like the fact KDE3.1 is available from the Community in RPM now…
I don’t understand:
I’d like to see better documentation, the automatic disk partitioning tool, and I’d pick Netscape 7.0 instead of Mozilla as our browser.
WHY? All Lycoris needs to do is clean up Mozilla’s user interface, maybe give it a KDE-like UI with some themes, and they would be better off. But what’s so great about Netscape 7.0 on Linux? At least on Windows it has IM integration, but on Linux?
