“As we’ve known for a few months, the Windows client team at Microsoft is working on its first ‘feature-pack’ update for Windows 8, supposedly due this summer/fall, which is codenamed ‘Blue’. But it turns out Blue isn’t a Windows thing only, according to one very accurate tipster of mine who doesn’t want to be identified. Blue also is the way Microsoft is referring to the next substantial platform update for Windows Phone, the Windows Services (like SkyDrive, Hotmail, etc.), and Windows Server, according to my source. In other words, Blue is a wave of product refreshes which are not expected to arrive exactly all on the same day, but which are meant to be released more or less around the same time.”
If it doesn’t improve things I’m afraid we’ll see some Microsoft Blues or Blue Monday jokes.
I’m expecting a HailStorm of improvements!
It’ll be so cool that you’ll be blue with envy.
(Or is it freezing… I forget)
Am I the only one who REALLY dislike this use of the word refresh?
new Acronym: BWOD
Blue Wave of Death
Well let’s put it out here, don’t want your media player, don’t want your browser. If you’re talking a DRM compromise, I’m assuming you’re drunk. Really, I can’t imagine you’d decide to play nice now…
…Oh sorry, you were talking to the guy in the tight sweater next to Bono and the cute little green robot. You know I’m friends with him, well family anyways, well we either disowned him or he disowned us. Use to call him Sparky.
I’ll just go back to holding this wall up shall I? Yeah.
