PCMag has listed its 10 favorite Internet Explorer 8 add-ons, with an explanation of new accelerators and Web slices, including a Digg Web slice and a Facebook accelerator. It looks like IE8 will make browsing more efficient with these two new useful features.
I am sorry, but I cannot force myself to use IE anymore. Microsoft have spent so much time trying to polish this turd that it is now beyond a joke.
When I use Windows machines, I automatically use Firefox, and visit https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/
Once there I have 2 favourite addons, one is Foxmarks bookmarks addon, amazing…. and the other is Stumbleupon, for when I am bored.
Microsoft has fallen so far behind, I can never see them catching up.
This isn’t about why you should use Firefox, this is for people you use IE and either like it, or like me in a corporate environment, have no choice but to use it.
This is about ADDONS for IE, and in a corporate environment, the addons will be blocked and disabled by any decent sysadmin. Therefore, your point is moot.
Not in my company. IT guys try to make IE the best it can be within the constraints of our IT policy.
sorry to hear that.
Like the other person pointed out. This is about add-ons to IE. Things like password keepers – these have no place on corporate networks, they are purely for personal systems, so it does indeed matter what that other guy wants to use.
I think you got pwned !
