SchilliX 0.3, err, 0.4 has been released. It now uses the Opensolaris Nevada build 28, while WLAN support has also been added. ‘Open’ WLANs with DHCP are now automatically detected and configured, if your chipset is supported. Download here.
Shillix 0.4 was released! And in case you were wondering, “What the difference between 0.4 and 0.3?”. Why, 0.1 of course! Just kidding, I’m downloading it now. I think OpenSolaris and its deriviatives such as Schillix are very interesting developments. I’ve always wanted to play with Solaris, but hardware support on the X86 platform was always so poor. Adding WLan support is a very good step in the right direction.
I guess that should read 0.4?

I downloaded and installed the CD demo version of 0.3 and it was pretty good.
It does not look like XFS has made it into Schillix yet. Hopefully soon.

Anybody have working Texas Instruments PCI1410 controler with SchilliX?
