Mozilla 0.94 has been released and here you can read the Release Notes. New features, among others, include better IMAP, LDAP and MIME support. The Mozilla team writes: “The Windows-only Quick Launch feature (-turbo) is enabled by default in this release for installer builds, although you can turn it off in the installer or in Advanced Preferences. We are hoping community members will test this feature for us. The performance increase is not as great as it used to be; however, Quick Launch now works with multiple profiles.“

while the rendering features of the browser are great, I still cant get my reverse (back) button to be unghosted. Wtf?
I guess I just have to wait for the 0.9.4 version of galeon now 😉 Gecko is brilliant but I’m afraid galeon is a better browser.

I tested the new Mozilla under Windows and it was actually pretty nice and fast. I would even use it instead of IE if it didnt crash all the time. Usually it crashes after an hour or so. Well, you cant have everything… 🙂
Mozilla must be on of the most bloated projects there is. Only Win XP with it’s 1.5GB disk space usage can top it.
Yes, because hard drives have become so expensive recently, the fact that the OS–the most important piece of software on the computer–takes a lot of space really is a huge deal.
Yeah, right. Mozilla is sooo bloated! Give me a break. You can download it in one 8.5 MB file and uncompressed, it takes up a whole 17.5 MB. You can hardly download Internet Exploder for less than 20 MB and it certainly takes up more disk space than that once uncompressed. Mozilla may be bloated memory usage wise, but it isn’t disk space wise.
Actually, the Windows version of Mozilla 0.94 isn’t that buggy or slow… it’s a nice improvement over eariler versions… I haven’t tried the linux version yet…
IE 20 mb? … according to micorsoft.com IE takes up 155 mb.
You need to look at the installed size on Win95 since it doesn’t already include IE. With newer windows’es the installed size is a just how much extra place will be taken up by installing IE, which isn’t how much space IE takes…
