Bio: Computer hobbyist since 1985.
Politically I am a classical, green liberal. In American terms, something close to a libertarian, with an emphasis on using natural resources in an efficient and sustaining way.
OS experience with C64 (*love*), Microsoft OSs from DOS-3.x to Windows XP. About ten years of Linuxes, BSDs, some Solaris. Have looked at Plan 9, looks great, but I currently have no use for its strong points.
Currently mainly using Arch Linux, and maintaining packages as a "Trusted User" in the semi-official "community" repository.
Programming skills: C, Python, Haskell, plus a superficial knowledge of about a dozen more.
Got a wife and a kid.
