Now if only we could get Solitaire on the iPhone or iPod Touch without a jailbreak, all those Oklahoma Christian College students would be able to be productive!

Pardon my ignorance, but why that college in particular? Did I miss a news story somewhere?
It was on Engadget over the weekend, they are rolling out iPhones, iPod Touches, and MacBooks to new students this year. Where was this trend when I was in college?
It seems that, in response to Microsoft buying the French Education system, Apple have bought OCC. Seeing as about 60% of the content on http://www.oc.edu/ is dedicated to apple .
Well my Palm Centro runs solitaire and yahtzee just fine, thank you! I don’t need no windows for that. And I also check my email, watch youtube videos (and not the mobile ones, either) with kinoma, listen to internet radio, and surf the web, etc. I also use SSH and VNC.
But for me yahtzee is number one (it’s actually called yahdice on the palm).
It had to be either this or Minesweeper….
A FreeCell edition for me, please
But all in all, this comic maps experiences in the lecture I’ve been in.

So, the perfect handheld runs Windows, eh?
Well, the iPhone doesn’t do Solitaire without jailbreak, and Linux PDAs’ batteries don’t last long enough to sit through one lecture (2hrs).
So yeah, Windows it is.

I think you can also make phone calls…
Blasphemy!! Bejeweled is the perfect anytime/anywhere pda app
It’s the only application I use on my PDA
And for some reason, you won’t get bored after playing it for years.
Any Windows Mobile PDA/phone?
My father uses his PDA mainly as GPS/navigation system but I see him playing Solitare on it all the time. And he is lecturer at a university
This comic cracks me up, because it’s so, so true: http://www.phdcomics.com/comics/archive/phd031305s.gif
Mine would have had Bejeweled… damned addictive that…
