bit late posting these shots..
I don't know why these people go to the trouble of tediously taking all these screenshots for each and every alpha, beta or RC. For one thing, Gnome hasn't changed all that much since version 2.x emerged so when you compare say Fedora 6 with Fedora 9 alpha, all you're really comparing, apparently, are default desktop themes. While improvements to Gnome have been slow but steady, it would be more helpful to potential users to compare screenshots that clearly indicate the improvement (i.e., policykit in Gnome 2.22 or its newly activated compositing effects.) Just throwing out a bunch of screenshots starting with boot up and going through the menus to shutdown isn't very helpful, unless you consider gratuitous eye candy helpful. That rant aside, it looks as though Fedora 9 is shaping up to be a great release! I'll be anxious to see how it compares to SUSE's upcoming 11 release as well as the much ballyhooed 'Buntu 8.04 LTS.
